Do any of these remind you of...you?

  • You want to teach your dog tricks and/or earn a Novice Trick title.
  • You want to get involved with dog sports but don't know where to start.
  • You are feeling unmotivated, frustrated by your lack of progress, or overwhelmed.
  • You have a million tik tok, Instagram and YouTube videos saved but no clear plan or proven methods.
  • You're sick of trying to figure it out and spending more time online than training your dog.
  • You wonder if you are ever going to achieve your training goals.
  • You wish there was a plan that was easy and quick to follow and that made sense to both you and your dog.

Good News!

I help dog owners with those same problems every day.   And if you're like any of them, you have probably heard the same myths.

Myth #1:

Trick training is just for fancy behaviors - not for basic obedience.

Spoiler Alert:

Behaviors like sit, down, and stay ARE considered tricks. Behaviors are behaviors, and teaching them should be FUN for both the dog and the owner. Having a goal not only makes it more fun, it gives you motivation to actually play with your dog.

BTW - Inside The Two-Week Trick Title, I show you the most efficient, effective, and fun way to teach your dog how to do something new.

Myth #2:

Trick training takes a lot of time.

Reality:

The truth is, trick training takes consistency, not a lot of time. It literally takes just a few minutes each day to teach them anything!!!

In The Two-Week Trick Title course, you'll get a schedule that's broken out into three minute sessions, with no more than six sessions each day.  And no worries if you need more than two weeks.  You can adapt the program to your schedule.

Myth #3:

Trick training is for experienced trainers.

The Truth:

Many first-time dog owners achieve Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert, and Champion titles with my help. You don't have to be experienced to learn how to teach tricks!

SNEAK PEEK - Inside The Two-Week Trick Title course, you'll start with a bare-bones, crystal clear explanation of the most efficient and effective way to train your dog.

Myth #4:

I can just go on YouTube or Google and find everything I need.

Reality:

Well, you probably can find most of it, eventually.  Too many people waste weeks (months, years) trying to figure it out, and I haven't found a concrete, logical plan for teaching tricks out there for free.

P.S. You'll get a complete training plan and schedule, plus all of the training videos are right there, in logical order. That means no more searching around to find the "good".

Myth #5:

I don't have the "right breed" to do tricks.

The Truth:

Dog training is all about motivation and fun. ANY breed can learn to do tricks.  Students with livestock guardians, protection breeds, "lap dogs", and everything in between have been successful in teaching tricks.

BTW - one of the bonuses inside The Two-Week Trick Title course is a "Rockin' Rewards" sheet that helps you identify the BEST motivators for training your dog.

Myth #6:

Everyone says "old dogs" can't learn new tricks, so I need to start with a young dog.

Spoiler Alert:

Dogs, like people, are never too old to learn something new.  My retired agility dog started learning tricks at 8 and earned her Grand Champion title.

BTW, everything in The Two-Week Trick Title is safe for all ages, with the exception of a few jumping tricks that are not suitable for puppies.  It provides alternatives to jumping for young dogs.

The Best Time to Train Your Dog Was When You First Got Him.  The Second Best Time is NOW!

Wouldn't it be great if...

  • There was a way to teach your dog tricks and earn a title in just 20 minutes per day over two weeks...
  • You had a plan that kept you on track and motivated, and gave you the knowledge you need...
  • The online course you chose was fun and rewarding, not just task after task...
  • You could be excited to train your dog and look forward to the training sessions...
  • You could follow a plan that maximized the limited training time you actually have...
  • You could have all of that AND improve your relationship with your canine companion...

Why Should I Take an Online Course?

Enjoy the benefits of online training:

  • Re-watch videos to refresh your memory
  • Train on your schedule, not the instructor's
  • Multiple learning methods (video, reading, downloads) instead of lectures alone
  • No driving to and from class for just a few minutes of practice!

Plus, you still get access to an instructor through the comments section so you can ask questions.

Sue W. Says

This course is just what Muppet and I needed  as we work on our  "Novice Masters" title. Having a blast!  I highly recommend this course for anyone working towards a Novice Trick Dog or Novice Masters title ... or just looking to have a fun and rewarding time with their dog!

Bev B. Says

The seminar covered a lot of information, delivered in concise chunks that were easy to absorb.  The structure was clear, logical, and effective.  Lorrie will demonstrate the skill and break it down into steps for you to perform with your pup.

Who is this course for?

New or Rescue Dog Owners

If you are a new dog owner or just got a rescue dog, fantastic! You'll get a step-by-step plan to help solidify your relationship, get you started down the right path for training, and give you a goal you can accomplish in a short period of time. I've rescued 11 dogs, so I understand the unique challenges.  Bonus - it will be fun for you and your new dog!

Experienced Dog Owners Who Need a Plan

Have you been struggling with motivation or direction when it comes to finishing your Novice title? Maybe you need someone to give you specific tasks each day to complete?  This is a great course for you. It includes concrete, actionable steps to take each day to get that title finished. Another plus - the downloadable materials can be reused for the next dog on your journey!

People With a New Puppy

Are you the proud owner of a new puppy with no idea what to teach first? Want to get your puppy involved with dog sports? This course helps you start building solid foundations for both family obedience and tricks. You'll learn to teach the behaviors you need to live in harmony with your dog. Get your pup started on the right path in a way that you will both enjoy!

Basically, this is for you if...

  • You want a better relationship with your dog, and a dog who is well-behaved.
  • You want to teach your dog basic obedience and tricks and earn a Novice Trick Title.
  • You don't care about a title, but you sure would like some direction for teaching tricks and basic obedience.
  • You want a plan that will help you to teach 15+ behaviors in just a few minutes each day.
  • You've tried going down the Google or YouTube rabbit hole looking for advice, but you don't know how to create a solid plan.
  • You've taught your dogs a few things on your own, but you are overwhelmed every time you hit a roadblock.
  • You've taught some of the tricks, but the technology to create a video frustrates you.
  • You've been trying to finish the title for months, but can't find the time or motivation to complete it.

On the flip side...

This is NOT for you if...

  • You'd rather endlessly search Google or YouTube than get a real, actionable, step-by-step plan from an expert.
  • You can't find a total of 20 minutes throughout the day to play training games with your dog.
  • You aren't interested in having a better-behaved, physically and mentally exercised companion.
  • You don't want a fun and engaging way to spend time with your dog.

What People Are Saying About

Maximum Fun Dog Sports

Her teaching skills are really amazing.

I have taken several agility seminars with Lorrie over the years. I have learned so much about distance work, something that is not offered much in our area. Her teaching skills are really amazing, very calm, and you and your dog never will feel pressured. When a dog (or you!) struggles to understand, she will break it down into smaller pieces, and voila, your dog gets it! My last seminar was a few months ago with my younger dog, with no experience in distance at all. After this one day seminar, I now have a dog that watches me and understands what I am asking from him.

Thyra P.

Lorrie is an all around easy going and fun trainer.

I have been a part of the Maximum Fun Trick Dog Facebook groups for a couple years now! Lorrie is an all around easy going and fun trainer. She has titled 3 of my dogs, and it has always been a pleasure to work and learn through her informative videos. The best thing about working with her is her supportive and upbeat responses to your questions and her positive feedback to your training - always lifting you up in your training and helping you attain the best with your dog.  I always recommend her groups and training videos to those in need!

Amber B.

I could always count on her to be a positive, encouraging voice.

I was having confidence issues (both my dog and I) in agility, and so we began a journey of learning tricks. Lorrie's site came up on my Facebook page, I am convinced, because she was the right person to support and encourage me! As Lacey and I have worked through successes and challenges, I knew I could always count on her to be a positive, encouraging voice, and to have good advice to help us solve the problems we were having! The videos she posts break things down so clearly that it helps me feel like I CAN do this!! I am very thankful for her, and Lacey and I have come a long way in our relationship, our confidence, and my ability to just laugh and enjoy!

Lorrie Reynolds with Pixie and Xephyr

Hi! I'm Lorrie

Dog owners like you come to me to help them succeed with trick training, agility, and canine conditioning.

My mission is to make training accessible and FUN for EVERYONE, regardless of physical ability or knowledge level.

I live in beautiful Colorado, with a great view of the mountains. I started out as an unintentional dog owner - my first two dogs were strays that I just couldn't bring myself to take to the shelter when we couldn't find the owners.

That second stray led me down an unexpected path. He got me involved in dog sports, was a multi-time national agility championship winner, and our experiences allowed me to start helping other dog owners bring out the best in their dogs. He was the greatest teaching assistant ever and my demo dog who helped me teach hundreds of students how to train their dogs.

My goal for this course

I created this course to help YOU have fun with your dog and teach 15 tricks in a short period of time.  Accomplishing your goals while building your relationship is a huge motivator for people.

I truly believe that EVERYONE is capable of succeeding in dog sports, whether that is trick training, agility, obedience, or any of the other sports out there.

And training should be FUN, not stressful! Achieving success with your dog should be a given, not a hope or a dream.

My mission is to help more people like you find the fun and joy in training so they can train their dogs without stress or frustration. Earning titles and learning to train efficiently is just the icing on the cake.

Rena B.

I have taken distance seminars and participated in some trick training with Lorrie. She has always been very helpful and clear in her directions! She has been an asset in being a better teammate for my furry partner.

Melanie G.

Lorrie is a rare gem. Very skilled dog trainer and coach whose teaching skills reach her students both online and in person. I am very impressed with how much 1:1 attention I get through her Spark Team FB groups. I know she gives the same attention to each one of her students, which is amazing. Very dedicated and devoted to her work. I look forward to continuing my dog's trick and conditioning & fitness title training with Lorrie.

Natalie K.

Lorrie is so willing to share her time and wealth of knowledge to help everyone have success and fun with their dog. Her online courses are easy to follow and well laid out. Highly recommend Maximum Fun Dog Sports.

Barb Y.

Like most agility seminars I have taken, Lorrie’s are informative and a lot of fun, but her seminars offer much more. Of course, there is instruction, demonstration, then trying the skills with your dog. There is evaluation and individual help for each team. For each of her seminars she creates a handbook for the class. Her skill is well known but her presentation organization and attention to detail is truly excellent. Typically, you have an agenda that includes cues the dog needs, skills required and how to teach them. Additionally, there are course diagrams to illustrate what you are learning and exercises to take home for practice. Finally, there are several course maps designed to give the student a chance to practice what they have learned. Everyone has the opportunity to run them, receive feedback and try again. In every one of her seminars I have taken, all of the students showed improvement by the end of the day. That feels good! The really sweet thing is the handbook. I have gone back, re-read what I had written, looked at the exercises and course maps. I always find something I had forgotten or just hadn’t sunk in yet. I take every seminar from Lorrie I can get into. For someone who is new to agility it takes awhile to grasp what is being taught and translate it to better handling and better team performance. I always have an “aha” moment in each seminar, no matter how many times I have taken it.

Sandi V.

I would like to say I am extremely pleased with all the terrific information you give at your distance seminars. Your seminars have helped me and my dogs learn distance skills that I couldn't possibly learn on my own. I highly recommend your seminars to everyone I know and I hear good things back from them about the things you teach in your seminars. Things make so much more sense for people training their dogs distance skills. You are a wealth of information and I highly recommend all the aspects of dog training you offer.

Alison D.

I have lost count of the number of Lorrie's seminars that I have attended. Every time, I gain new insight about how to better connect with my dog. I first went to Lorrie for help on distance handling with my very small dog. Lorrie helped me understand how my motion and body position on the agility course cues my dog. That tiny dog and I have since earned championships in NADAC, AKC, and Teacup agility and Lorrie played a big part in our accomplishments. If you want better communication with your dogs, you should communicate with Lorrie.

Carol E.

I have had the opportunity to take at least three of Lorrie's seminars since 2015. Lorrie is an excellent coach, teacher and mentor in dog training of all kinds. Her distance seminars have taught me and my two border collies so much about how to succeed with distance in agility. Lorrie is kind, patient, very smart with dogs, and has a fun sense of humor. I will continue taking seminars with her, and I plan on taking workshops with her online.

It also explains the different ways you can provide the video to the Certified Trick Dog Instructor, and how that process works.

Don't let being intimidated by technology stop you from earning the title your dog deserves.

After this module, you will be navigating the programs with ease.
