From Lorrie:

Hi!

I’m Lorrie Reynolds, owner of Maximum Fun Dog Sports and longtime dog sport competitor.  Dog owners like you have been coming to me since 2005 to help them teach agility, tricks, family obedience, and canine conditioning.   My  teaching assistants (canine) and I live in dog-friendly Colorado.

I’ve been extremely blessed with talented and willing teammates, who are always eager to play so we can demonstrate skills and exercises.

I love working with students of all levels and abilities.  Having some physical challenges of my own, I enjoy figuring out how to make things work for individual teams and providing one-on-one interactions so you never feel like "one in a pack of thousands".

Why this course was created

Have you ever:

  • Reached for a glass without looking?
  • Walked up stairs without watching your feet?
  • Instinctively moved out of the way of your overly-rambunctious dog?

Those activities rely on our ability to “know” where our limbs are in relation to objects around us and to the rest of our body.

Dogs need that too!  But most dogs are “front wheel drive” – where the front paws go, the rest follows.

This course is based on one of the most popular articles on my website “12 Rear End Awareness Exercises for Agility Dogs.” An instructor friend of mine asked if I would put together a course based on the article.  He has noticed, (like I did), that many agility dogs are unaware that they even have rear feet, which gets in the way of their performance on the course, causing knocked bars, missed contacts, and sloppy weaves.  You need a way to help your dog "find his footing".  Give your dog the gift of health, safety, and fitness with this course.

What people are saying about Rear End Awareness for Agility Dogs

This is a program that I hope EVERY one of my training clients will take advantage of.  Whether you are looking for “running” contacts or need “stopped” contacts, this is the information that will help you!

-Jeff

My dog is not an agility dog, but very sporty.  His rear legs needed coordination and he became better! Nice videos and explanation! Thank you! We will keep on training these exercises!

-Simone
